Box Office Hardware

All you need to get started is an iPhone or iPad.

The RapidScan Box Office app works on iPhone or iPad. It processes cash, card and Apple Pay (via iZettle), and prints tickets and receipts.

Below is a list of the hardware that that the app requires for you to have a fully functioning box office system.

We also offer a complete kit for hire, including an iPad Air, Bluetooth contactless card reader, receipt and ticket printer and cash drawer. All packaged in an event-proof, waterproof flightcase. Rental cost is £200 per event.

iPad / iPhone

To sell tickets in person, download the RapidScan app for iPhone or iPad. We recommend using an iPad if you can, as the interface is easier to use. You'll need version 1.4 of the app or above.

* The Box Office functionality is not currently available for Android devices.

iZettle

Card payments are powered by iZettle, Europe's number one mobile payments provider. Simply sign up for an account and you are ready to start taking card payments through the RapidScan app.

Accept major UK credit card (including American Express), including contactless & Apple Pay - leaving more cash in your customer's pockets to spend at the bar.

Receipt Printer

This low cost, out-of-the-box solution is perfect for providing fixed printing capabilities from Tablets, Smartphones or Any Handheld Device for queue busting, event ticketing, retail transactions, restaurant ordering - the applications are endless.

Star's Series of cash drawers have been specifically designed to link with Star's and other industry standard POS printers.

They range from the basic entry level model to the larger version aimed at markets with more note sizes.
