Martin Garrix at Control LeedsAdded: 12th Feb 2014
Category: Case StudiesPutting on a dance event featuring Martin Garrix, one of the EDM scene’s most highly rated artists in Leeds’ Control club represented a great opportunity but it was important the lead up was effectively managed and developed.
Ticket allocation for Control events have always been shared with a local competitor, however it was important to create further hype around this event, so Skiddle’s services were engaged to give the event a greater geographic reach.
Why they chose Skiddle:
The promoter felt this needed a bigger push and chose Skiddle due to our reach in Leeds and the North West whilst also being able to offer the kind of national visibility the promoter wanted.
Whilst the promoter was keen to use a self service system they wanted to make sure there’d be an account manager at the end of the phone if they needed to speak to anyone.
The promoter also had an existing entry management solution in place, and wanted to use a ticket outlet that could integrate with this solution.
Which services were used:
- RadipScan tickets
- Editorial coverage
- Top 6 Newsletter coverage
- Eflyers
How they benefitted from working with Skiddle:
Promotion Centre statistics were accredited with smooth running and tweaking of the campaign. The tickets sold out quicker than anticipated with much of the extra ticket sales being attributed to Skiddle’s involvement.
What they said about Skiddle:
“As a promoter, the backend of Skiddle is addictive to check on sales activity, event hits and where your customers are coming from. Plus being able to purchase tickets quickly and via mobile really helps our customers.” Danny Harrison
